Z-Axis Microscope Stage – iZAA-MO

WDI’s Z-axis positioning stages are motorized systems for precise OEM Automated Z objective movement for microscope objective lenses. They offer versatile vertical positioning for various microscopy applications, including long stroke models and configurations for larger field-of-view microscope objectives and cameras.

IZAA-MO, known for accuracy, repeatability, and reliability, is a fully integrated multi-objective motorized Z axis stage that can handle either a single microscope objective (M26 standard thread) or multiple objectives using WDI’s linear lens changers and various objective lenses with support for various insert plates suitable for almost all objectives on the market.

  • New integrated electronics removes the need for an additional external controller and cabling with significant cost reduction while maintaining superb performance ideal for fast-tracking focus applications.
  • A four times improvement in Z-axis resolution (40 nm) compared to previous generation actuators, providing highly precise vertical objective movement through a high-precision Z focus stage architecture.
  • Design allows for standalone use or use with WDI’s autofocus sensors while supporting two 1.5A LED illuminators or one 3A LED illuminator, as well as WDI’s linear lens changers supporting various objectives.
