Z-Axis Power Stage – iZPS
WDI’s Z-axis positioning Stages are motorized systems for precise, automated movement of microscope objective lenses, providing OEM Automated Z objective movement for advanced microscopy platforms. They offer versatility for various microscopy applications, including long stroke models and configurations for larger field-of-view objectives and cameras.
Known for accuracy, repeatability, and reliability, this fully integrated power stage model (iZPS) is suited for handling WDI’s large linear lens changers and rotary lens changers on the market.
Features
- New integrated electronics removes the need for an additional external controller and cabling with significant cost reduction while maintaining superb performance ideal for fast-tracking focus applications.
- A four times improvement in Z-axis resolution (47 nm) compared to previous generation actuators, providing highly precise vertical objective movement through a high-precision Z focus stage architecture.
- Design allows for standalone use or with WDI’s autofocus sensors while supports two 1.5A LED illuminators or one 3A LED illuminator as well as WDI’s linear lens changers and rotary lens changers on the market supporting various objectives.
