Weiss Family of WDI Commits $400,000 to support Veterans’ House Canada’s
We’re proud to announce that the Weiss family of WDI Wise Device Inc. has committed over $400,000 to support a new veteran-focused housing initiative in Edmonton led by Veterans’ House Canada.
Veterans’ House Canada is on a mission to end homelessness among Canadian veterans by delivering permanent, affordable housing combined with on-site, wraparound support services. Their model goes beyond providing a roof, it creates veteran-focused communities that offer mental health support, employment assistance, peer mentorship, and the stability needed to successfully transition to civilian life.

Our contribution directly supports the development of a purpose-built, supportive housing community in Edmonton designed specifically for veterans. This project will provide not just safe housing, but a structured environment that fosters independence, connection, and long-term success. At WDI, we believe impact starts with action. Supporting Veterans’ House Canada allows us to stand behind those who have served and invest in a future where every veteran has a safe place to call home and the resources to thrive.
